1. Our Philosophy

At UseFreeKits, we believe everyday software tools shouldn't come at the cost of your digital privacy. Our public utilities (such as our Todo List, JSON Formatter, and Word Counter) are architected as client-side tools. When you use these tools, your tasks, text, and data are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

For visitors using our free tools:

  • We do not record your input text, JSON data, or task descriptions.
  • We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data.
  • We do not use advertising networks or third-party behavioral profiling scripts.

3. Data Storage (localStorage)

Certain tools (such as our Todo List) save your configuration and tasks inside your browser using standard HTML5 localStorage. This data stays on your machine and you have complete control over it. You can clear your browser storage or export your data to an offline JSON file at any time.

4. Cookies and Analytics Consent

We operate an international, privacy-first consent management system:

  • Strictly Necessary Technologies: Required for core site operations, remembering your cookie preferences, preventing CSRF attacks, and securing administrator sessions. These are always active and do not track your activity across the web.
  • Optional Analytics (Google Analytics 4): Used solely to measure aggregated, anonymous platform usage so we can continue developing high-leverage free utilities. Google Analytics is never loaded or initialized without your prior, explicit consent. We strictly forbid and strip all personally identifiable information (such as emails, names, payment details, or tool data) from analytics parameters.

5. Administrator Accounts

For authorized platform administrators accessing our internal Admin Dashboard, we store an email address, hashed password, and authentication session token in an encrypted database to verify administrative privileges.
